I would like some input on the people who have a Glock with a light or light/laser combo attached on the rail. I was looking into getting the X200 on a G23 or G19 ( or maybe the G21 ) ? I have heard some negative stuff about the Glock frame when a light is attached to it. Any input or opinions are welcomed, thanks guys.

I have a G34 with the M6, which I bought in Oct 2004, and it is working flawlessly. The light and laser has been tested in IDPA club match stages at ranges out to 75 feet. The light lit up the targets fully and the red dot from the laser is easily seen on the targets. Every night, I check that the light and laser are functioning before going to bed because this is my nightstand gun. Both light and laser have always come on. Also, I'm still on the original batteries that came with it but I'll be replacing them soon because I noticed the light is a little dimmer. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the M6.

one negative thing that i found about having a light/laser on a compact is that while training with the unit attached to a gun.....it gets dirty REALLY fast. full-sized guns dont have this problem since the muzzle extends further than the light.

other than that, i love my tlr2. i found mine on ebay for 220 shipped a couple months ago!

I had an M3 for a couple years on a G17 that was a dedicated nightstand gun. Unfortunately I had to include the light with the 17 on a trade for another Glock and some stuff. I really miss the thing and will be getting another as soon as budget allows. I never had any problems and it was as bright as I would ever need it to be.

Both my 21 and 30 have a lasermax internal laser and a StreamLight TLR-1 tac light. I really like the laser being internal because I can holster the weapon in a standard holster and still have the laser function. I generally wear cargo pants so throwing the TLR-1 in my pocket if I go out late at night is no big deal. Takes about 3 seconds to attach it.

i have a Cmore on a carver mount. not quite the same as a laser or light, but i bet the carver applies more pressure over a larger area.

If something goes BUMP in the night you will be glad that you are better prepared.

My G34 has a Streamlight TLR-1 and a CT laser on it. I'm very happy with both. I went with the TLR-1 and the CT to get the power sources separate,it's unlikely they'd both fail at the same time.

Exactly...it just isnt practical to carry a Glock with a light mounted on it concealed. Even in a holster made for it I dont find it comfortable. This is why I love LaserMax.

I had a lasermax, $300 and you couldn't see what you are shooting at in the dark. Only useful in low light conditions and gives a false sense of marksmanship. I had a bad habit of pointing the laser and shooting and that screwed up my shot placement. I went back to using the sights and I was good to go. Sold the lasermax bought a light and never looked back.

In my bedroom there are two handguns in the handgun safe. A Para Ord P14 Limited w/SFX200 and a G17 w/Insight Tech M6. Both work flawlessly and are ready to go for SHTF. However, I also keep an SF-E2 Executive and a BH-Gladius in the same safe. I like options.

I only carry a light on my primary duty gun (HKUSP.40CLEM w/Streamlight M3) when involved in an enforcement action. Other wise I'm packing my G26 and carry an SF-L4 Digital Lumamax.

While the light is very important I do enjoy a laser and get a real kick pinpointing targets in the dark. I also have an M6 on my duty 870. It gives me a warm and fuzzy when I light up CM on a target.

I have had no malfunctions with a Glock 23 which has 9300 under its belt, other than dirty magazines or when an X200 is fitted, the X200 induces a FTF rate of about 1%, however the X200 on a Glock 22 does on seem to have FTF problems though it has not been tested with a X200 to the extent the 23 has.

I have only recently started testing Crimson Trace Lasergrips on a Glock 23 and the only faults found so far are the locking pin which comes with the Lasergrips keeps working lose after only 10 or 15 rounds, which affects the point of aim and the fact that the lasers beam points along the slide just where right handed shooters should rest their trigger finger when not engaging a target. The pin working lose can easily be overcome, however the position of the shooters finger getting in the way of the line of sight of the laser could well prove a major problem.

I use the Streamlight TLR-1 on my 37. Extremely well made and designed product. Easy and intuitive to flip the momentary or ON switch with the trigger finger. Also very easy to put on and take off. Great, great product with a very bright light.
