Sootch00 got me interested in the .25 Auto world, now I own eight of the little boogers. Just wondered who else has any of these tiny instruments of destruction in their lineup?

My first handgun was a Ruger .22 and a Savage 24D, my next purchase was a Beretta .25 back in 1965. I don't think I put a hundred rounds through it but it shot ok. It was for my wife, when I was away. She used to fly with it in her purse between LA and Phila every couple of months when I would be on deployment. Still have it.

The Beretta is one of the better shooters in my lineup....

My mother handed me down her 1951 Beretta 418. This is an image off of the net, but it looks a lot like mine, especially since it is a 1951 also.

I've always wanted one. Just for fun. I had a girlfriend once who had a Raven 25 and it was actually a very reliable little gun, but I'd rather have something nicer, maybe nickel plated with mother-of-pearl grips.

I used to work for a guy who always carried a Baby Browning 24-7-365 until he upgraded to a Colt Officers model but still carried the Browning as a back-up on occasions.
    This one is an Astra:

The history of these guns is fascinating, from the European Walthers and Brownings to the “Ring of Fire” California crap that gave these their bad reputation.

Have had a number of them and my brother has a few as he has something of a bizarre affection for them. He even reloads the ammo- you can’t adjust a powder measure down far enough to reliably throw a consistent charge that small(1.1 grains of bullseye powder) so he built a small dipper out of a .22 short case to measure powder!
The better ones ( beretta Colt) are relentlessly reliable and are surprisingly accurate ( playing card size groups at ten yards and about twice that at 25 yards!)

I've always wanted one as a curiosity, maybe just because it's an ACP cartridge.

Got an original Baby Browning that I bought new for 40 bucks. Probably hasn't had ten boxes of ammo ran through it. Shows how old it is.

I carried it some, way back then. There was nothing else even close to being that small, way back then. But I would never dream of carrying it now. Just a curiosity piece these days.

Or as a back up. Hide in your sock without a holster.

I had a colt in 25acp sold it when someone offered me what I considered stupid money for it.

The smallest caliber that I own now is 32acp NAA Guardian , and carry it as a backup.

I have 4- 32naa's and a seecamp which stays in the safe.

My mom carries one of naa's and my dad carries another one of them

Oddly enuf, ammo for it is very reasonably priced now, under twenty cents a round. Two years ago it was twice that.

Just bought a Colt myself, a pre- ban 1958 model made by Astra in Spain for $300, and it was a bargain. Came with 5 mags, which go for $50 each on Gunbroker. Funny, in the nineties I used to see these at gun shows all the time, but now they are hard to find ( and getting pricey).

I'd guess I've owned 1000 or more firearms and shot may more. Never owned or fired a .25acp. I'd like to own a Colt or Browning in .25 but low on my list to buy.
