I do all the time to save dishes. I made a huge pot of gumbo last night (chicken, shrimp, and andouille)
and just heated up a pan for a late snack. I hate to microwave. So now I'm sitting here eating out of the pan at my desk wondering if I'm the only person this white trash on GT. :whistling:

LOL, sometimes, and over the sink. Why have to wipe up the slobber? Don't do it much when the wife's around...

I've done it, and I live in the New England so I can't be white trash.

I do use a spoon instead of my fingers. I'm not totally uncivilized.

With my buds, drunk and grilling steaks: From the platter, with our own knives & forks.

    Separate pan.
I made a huge pot (maybe 3 gallons) yesterday. It's in the fridge. I filled up a small sauce pan with a portion for me and only me to heat on the stove because I hate the microwave. Then I ate out of that pan instead of transfering to a bowl simply for the sake of seeming more civilized than I am.

Guilty. The fewer dishes I have to do the better.

Back in college, anything I can pour over Raman noodles, which is...anything, it made it to the living room in the pan with the necessary utensile. The issue was to clean it for my four roomates use on the same night.

Glad I'm in my 40's where I can dump in in a bowl. Same diet however...

Guilty here too. If I'm just heating something for myself, why make an extra dish to clean? I heated some stew a couple of days ago, and my girlfriend decided when I was about half way through that she wanted some too, so she went into the kitchen, grabbed a spoon, and dug in too! I'm just glad I made too much for myself to finish.

I don't eat out of the pan. My wife would kill me for scratching her cookware. I do, however, eat half the ingredients as I'm "cooking."
