I've never tried an after market grip but I like the looks of the Talon Grip and am thinking of trying one out myself.

I started with the Hogue grip on my Glock 34. I like the grip but it made an already bulky grip seem even larger. I decided to try the Talon Grip and loved it. The Hogue has sat in a drawer ever since. Excellent die cut grip that fit perfectly. Came in envelope a couple of days after I ordered it. Talon gets my vote, two thumbs way up.

I have TalonGrips on my duty weapon, but not on my concealed (off duty) weapon. I love them - actually improved my shooting.

    love, love, love the Hogue!!

For my purposes it's perfect. I have one on my 22C, but it is NOT something I would carry. The best feature IMO is the added thickness in the palm areas...it just feels so much more secure while shooting.

If I had an OD frame, I'd definitely get the black Hogue...I think it's an awesome color combination. I know a few people around here are running theirs that way...

Tried the hogue grips on a friends baretta 92fs.
Wasn't a fan as they made the grip feel way to beefy and out of place, but that's probably just me.
My friend swears by it, saying it helps him point the gun better.

I installed this Talon grip last week on my G23. I have a much firmer and stable grip on the base. I tried a Hogue and I really liked it because it fattened the grip but I accidentally made a small hole in it with my thumbnail while installing it. ARG! The hole allowed the grip to slide up after a few shots. I would recommend either one, just don't put a hole in the Hogue. :whistling:

I have the talon on my 19 and love it...The hogue had a great feel BUT it did not last on mine for long as it started to split.

I put tallon grip on my G33 that I loved untill I carried it for a day. It rubbed agains my skin even through an undershirt and also grabbed on my clothes too much for me to be comfy with. I love the way it feels when dawing and shooting just couldn't deal with the abrasivness of it.

i have tried the hogue grip on my 26 and didnt like it, had to do some cutting also.

Seen where a guy on another thread used grip tape that he got form lowes. Im going to try that before i buy another one.

I put talon grips on my 26, its amazing how much it changes the feel of the gun in my hand. Haven't had the chance to shoot it since I installed them but I have a feeling its going to help a lot
