OK after a long affair with revolvers I am coming back to the Glock fold. I am going to purchase two in a week or two but am having a little bit of an issue with narrowing down which two. I am leaning towards a G19 and a G23 with the G23 getting most of the carry duty and the G19 for carry and the range. However I am a big fan of the G30, probably my favorite Glock. But the price of 45 ACP ammo has me a bit hesitant although it would be mainly a carry gun anyway. I am also a fan of the G26 and with the G26 I could keep it simple with one caliber. I have owned all of these including G21's and 17's and 22's. I like them all. I am curious to hear your opinions on which two of the ones I have listed and why. Thanks

If I could only own 2 Glocks, the first would be a G19 without question. For me, I'd add a G34 as the 2nd one.

Definitely Glock 30 for carry. 40SW costs about the same as 45acp.

For the 2nd gun I'd get it in 9mm. I have a 19 but right now I want the 26. If I already had the 26 I would probably be wanting the 19.

I carry a G23 with a Lasermax and I love it. You can get a conversion barrel for 9mm for about $100. My next choice is the G26. I own one that thinks it's a target pistol. That's my $.02

I had a Beretta 92 on layaway but changed it when i saw the 26. I already have another 9mm, a ruger, and the beretta was too similar to it in size, decided to get something smaller. The 26 is one of the smallest 9mm pistols made.

( i decided to get the 26 not the 27 because i already have a sh$tload of 9mm ammo and our Governator in Califironia signed an ammo restriction/ ban bill that goes into effect in 2011, so hoarding is a very important thing to do here now),

the 26 is narrow, and light in weight too. For all that the recoil on firing is not excessive, considering how small it is. I don't know about the other glocks but i think the 26 is just great.

One thing though, this gun does not seem to like Fiocci ammo.

I would go with two different models of the same caliber, keep things simple.

I went with the 26 and 30 for concealed carry. But I find so much free brass laying on the ground at the range I guess I am going to have to get a 40 as well.

G19 and G30. 19 for home def. and 30 for carry. 45 acp is expensive, but I don't burn through it very fast. Most of my practice is on the G17 anyway.

My first was the 19, and I just told my local dealer to chase down a 26.

I would pick one caliber which is 9 m.m. due to less perceived recoil. I would pick two of the same model which are G 19 for the ease of maintenance and supplies.

19 is very handy. May be the best Glock ever (opinion).
26 is very stealthy (and in the same caliber!)

Get a G29, and some G20 mags. Then go buy some reloading equipment with the spare change.
