I never had a Weatherby but have a Tikka SS T3 Lite. It's a very nice rifle.

Without a doubt I'd go Tikka!!!!!

Every single Tikka I've ever seen has been a tack driver.... Great quality for the price since you're pretty much getting a Sako barrel on it!

The Weatherby Vanguard is a rebranded Howa 1500 at a higher price.

I have a .223 Howa 1500 and its great but between those two I would go with the Tikka.

Kinda leaning toward the Tikka, as my last SUB-MOA Wby in 270WSM had to be sent back to Weatherby twice.
