I found the porcelain gun comment quite amusing.

IIRC, there was a shortage of 5.7 blanks when they shot the episodes with the Carter Special.

    My fav Die Hard?
1 of course. Rickman was the perfect villain.
    3 next.
4 enjoyed more than I expected.
2 required too much suspension of disbelief.

Part of it was filmed at the Alpena Airport in Northern Michigan. It was due to the runway being long enough and having snow. IIRC it's the only city thanked in the credits.

I agree, fantastic villain. He had an intellectual edge/tone to his character that wasn't equaled by the other villains.

The first Die Hard. We watch it every Christmas Eve. It is a Christmas movie after all.

    My favorites in order are 2, 1, 4, 3. My mom likes 4, 1, 2, 3.

Yes I'm going to see 5 on Valentine's day.

Hans was the best villain but his brother in Die hard 3 was pretty entertaining with his roles and twists. Samuel L was the best sidekick and the shootout at the terminal in Die Hard 2 was best shooting scene.

You are so right. I kinda get those two franchises mixed up sometimes.

Probably because both of them went downhill after the first one (became kinda interchangeable).

Loved his facility with accents also. Rickman is a very talented actor.

Did not like the 2nd. 1 and 3 were good. 4 was OK, but it's weird that Silent Bob was in it.

Political Weapon 4 was perhaps the worst piece of propaganda I've ever seen in my life. Nothing from Bruce Willis has ever even tried to come close to that abortion.
