I want to start playing more for fun. Anyone here like either of these two sites?
I have played on both and both are very good. I tend to like full tilt a little better not quite as many people on it so you dont have to struggle to get onto a table before it is full.
I forgot- Are they both for free or is FTP for money only?
I've played on PokerStars a LOT. Full Tilt a little bit, and decided I liked Poker Stars much better.
They both have free sites, the .net version, and real sites, the .com version.
I really like Poker Stars but I only play for free chips. If you choose Poker Stars go to Pokerstars.com and not Pokerstars.net. The .net program does not have some features such as searching for a player which is nice when looking for a friend or enemy. If you PM me I will give you my user name so we can play at the same table some night. I could even throw you some chips so you can play with the big dogs.
Thanks for reminding me, there are .com and .net versions. I will hit you up if I make it over that way.
Well, I just made my Pokers Stars account...
Looks like a bunch of us should go to PS.net and make a GT group or something?
Pokerstars.com is just as free as Pokerstars.net. For some reason though, the software is different on the two... For instance, if you download from Pokerstars.net, the "Find a Player" feature is disabled. Download from Pokerstars.com, and it works fine.
tbh.. I don't play Full Tilt, but Pokerstars has "Play Money" tables, and "Real Money" tables, where you can add money to your account, and play there. I've never, ever had a problem finding an empty table..
Personally, I hate Full Tilt and Party Poker. I really like Pokerstars.
I play on both sites. If you want to play play money ring games, they are both fine. Poker stars does have draw games that FT does not have. If you want to play tournaments, PS is much better. PS has more tournaments going and a wider variety of games. PS is also the best place for sit and goes.
