    Which gun that you have either own or shoot that did not live up to your expectation?

    +++++++++++++++++++++ADD+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Make it more specific, and not turn this thread into a bash thread. What did you expect the gun before you own/shoot it. And why they disappoint you?

    Ruger Mk 2. Jammed every chance it got.

    Wouldn't disassemble for anything. Hated it but still own it.

    Kimber custom 2, after 700 rounds it would not run more than 1 mag without a jam tried several different mags/ammo. Sold it for a loss.

    Kahr PM45. I had two of them and both had multiple failures to feed and extract. Springfield GI Micro. After a trip back to Springfield they did manage to get it to only FTF about every 10 rds or so. Glock G30SF. Problems well covered in several different threads on GT.

    Kimber TLE purchased in 2003 and after two trips to kimber still got some nasty jams. After sitting in the safe for 5 years just sent it off to Dane Burns

    Ruger LCP.

    Lots of new CCW students bring them to class, and we spend more time trying to get them to feed and eject than we do teaching.

    There is nothing wrong with the design, but their parts machining and quality control inspections must be subcontracted to the Elbonians....

    Ruger SR9 just did not like the gun, sold it for a loss. Having the same problem with the Ruger LCP, it is good for concealment, but not sure if I want to rely on it in a tight spot....

    Auto Ordanance 1911. Horribly inaccurate and wouldn't feed anything except hardball. Kinda turned me off 1911's.

    Colts and S&W of this decade have (for me) not measured up to their past performance and standards.

    Khar PM9. After a 300 round break in period it was reliable and as accurate as might be expected from a mouse gun. Problem is.......after 300 rounds the barrel shroud was peening badly.
    They had this issue for years yet they continued turning them out for sale the whole time. I will never own another Khar.
