Hi, I just registered for the one in Piru, CA on November 4th. This will be my first one! I'm going to re-read the Glock Report to make sure I have everything down. Totally excited. What should I expect?

    Anybody else competing soon?

    Can't wait!

Expect to meet a lot of neat people and to have fun! That's the main thing. Tell the ROs it's your first time and they will help you a lot. Talk to others, meet new people who will be your friends. You can match the faces to people who post on Glock Talk. Good Luck and shoot good. Welcome to the wonderful world of GSSF outdoor matches.:wavey:

take at least 4 loaded mags and 3 boxes of ammo. for me the first time i shoot in competition was way easier than i thought it'd be. take your time, relax, and have fun. don't be afraid to talk to other shooters or the ROs and tell them you're new.

Greg...you can also shoot (4) categories with the same gun....if you are an Amateur...you might ask to shoot the Competition Category as well...it's the same course of fire you need about 100-150 rounds per category..but you can shoot more for an extra $25.00 per category. I belive EDE shoots (6) and Glockess (Sharon) shoots (4).

Didn't there used to be a show called Master Ed? Oh, maybe that was Mister Ed!

If anyone can do it, Ed can and will.
