    Once I get my M9, I'll take some similar pics of it alongside my G17 for comparison.

    As I've been doing some research for concealed carry, I was surprised to find that when I measured "true" length overall, the G17 came out to 7.75 inches. That's from the tip of the barrel to the furthest extension -- which happens to be the end of the butt. They list the LOA as 7.3 inches, but that's just slide length. The angle of the grip adds almost 1/2 inch.

    Slide Length
    G17 - 7.32"
    M9 - 7.05"
    G19 - 6.85"

    Barrel Length
    G17 - 4.49"
    M9 - 4.0"
    G19 - 4.02"


    Height
    G17 - 5.43"
    M9 - 5.02"
    G19 - 5.0"
