I am selling my G19 because I purchased a G27 and want another gun of the same caliber. I don't know if I should get the standard or the compact model. Also if anyone has the G35 if they could tell me how they like it.

What do you intend to do with the new one? If you wish to carry, get a 23. If it's just for shooting, then any shall do.

The G23 can pretty much do everything the G22 can in a slightly more compact size. If you're a big guy and intend to carry concealed, the full-size G22 is fine. It's what I carry as my primary CCW and have no complaints whatsoever about it. Nevertheless, a lot of people still kinda favor the G23 overall.

Visit your local dealer and get a feel for both versions. If your local range has them available for rent, fire off a few rounds to get an idea of how each handles in your hands under such conditions. Ballistic performance is near-similar in both (not *exact*, of course), so I guess it really does come down to a basic choice of "size".

Can't get a G25 here in the U.S., not enough BATF points for import.

Id say go with the 22,thats what I carry as my CCW.Mine has a clipdraw so it's deeply conceiled, but I am a bigger guy.I'd say go with whatever you feel comforable with.

    Good Luck

G27 is my favorite CCW, followed up by the G23.

Love the G35 for a range gun.

I run a 27/35 combo. The 35 has always been my favorite Glock. Love the long sight radius & pointability. Plus, the 3.5 connector and extended slide release work well for me. The extended mag release works well, but maybe too well for certain holsters!

    Get a G23, but keep the G19.

I would say go with the G23, due to the fact that you already know how it feels having the G19. Personally I would not sell the G19; instead I would just save up to get the G23 and the G35. Actually it’s what I did (G27, G23x2, G22, and G35). It all comes down to what you’re going to be doing with it as to what size you need.

Buy a normal capacity G23 magazine and an A&G sleeve. This will let your G27 mimic the grip dimensions of the G23 along with the 13 round mag. capacity. For CCW, this might be ideal.......the shorter/lighter barrel and slide of the G27, along with the larger grip dimensions and 13+1 mag. capacity of a G23.
    Buy the G35.

    That way you'll have a G27, a pseudo-G23, and a full-sized G35!

By my logic, I'd have it instantly narrowed down to either the G23 or the G35. Get the G23 if you want another carry option plus a great range gun. If you just want to shoot for recreational purposes only, then go with the G35.

I had a G17 and wanted a larger caliber so I landed on a G23 and love the size. It's a bit like Golielocks though, subcompact was too small for my big paws, full size just more than I wanted so for me the G23 was just right. That must be why they make so many models.
