Where's the love for blued 1911s?

    I like Hard Chrome the best, but from a classic look standpoint, nothing beats bluing.

    I absolutely love blued guns. I'm so neurotic about fingerprints I go crazy though. That's why I appreciate parkerizing.

    That gun looks great, Quack. Yeah, some of that black oxide could easily pass for bluing.

    How dare you start a thread about beautiful blued 1911's and not include your STI Legacy. One of the most beautiful blued 1911's out there IMO. Shame on you. :shame:

    I didn't know what finish they had I thought it was blued but when I bought them I didn't care that much because I'm really planning to send both of them off eventually hopefully one will go out in the next week or two the other might be a little while so that's why the finish wasn't a big concern.

    I was afraid that BAC was going to post the pics of that beautiful RRA. Not sure if it's blued or not, but it makes me think irrational thoughts.
