They're out of stock too. Try here Plus, it's cheaper than bb-enterprise.

As already mentioned, we sell them at www.bb-enterprise.biz but are currently out of stock of the Modified Model G Speed Holster for small frame Glocks. We DO have inventory of the Model G Modified to fit our Mount with your Glock "large frame" (Model 20 or Model 21). We do not have these listed on our website because they were special ordered and we had 2 extra holsters left over from the special order. In stock, also, is an unmodified Model G for large frame Glock (Model 20 or Model 21).

If interested, please email me at carvermounts@msn.com

    Thanks,
    Bobby Carver

I'm confused about these CR holsters. Brownells lists (but is out of stock) a '"G" CR Speed Holster' for $93 and says 'Model "G" fits all models of Glock.'

Other places, including Rescomp's web site say to specify frame size when ordering.

If I want one holster that can work with both my 34 and 21 (both with Carver mounts), will one CR work for both with some adjustment?

Also, how does a belt like the CR 2001 "HI TORQUE" BELT work? Is the inner belt worn inside your pants belt loops and the outer belt outside, or are both worn outside? I assume one of the advantages to such a belt is you can place holster and pouches anywhere...i.e. your belt loops don't get in the way.

inner belt goes inside the belt loops, outer belt attaches to the inner belt OVER the belt loops (with velcro).

The CR Speed Holster model G for Glocks is available for both small frame and large frame models like the Model 34 and the Model 21. The holster for the Model 34 will not fit the Model 21. The holster for the Model 21 is smaller.

Rescomp is currently designing the Model G holster with the necessary modifications so that the holster will fit our CARVER Mount design. Hopefully, their modified holsters will be available soon. We are waiting for our first order.

The Model G holster in Brownells comes with the standard hanger which is made out of polymer. The Model G "Modified" holsters that we sell are modified to fit your CARVER Mount AND our Model G holsters come with the VersaHanger with is aluminum and has unlimited adjustments.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Bobby

Smaller how? Shorter in the body such that the muzzle cup can't get low enough? If that's the only difference, wouldn't one for the 34 be adjustable to accomodate the 21 which is about an inch shorter after the trigger guard?

My 21 is actually longer though...as it has the end of a 6" barrel sticking out beyond the slide. Does this complicate fitting it to a CR holster?

The trigger guard on the Model 34 is not as wide as the trigger guard on the Model 21. As for the length, the length of the muzzle is ajustable on the CR Speed Holster. It will accomodate a barrel up to 7".

We just received another shipment from Rescomp of the Model G holster with the VersaHanger. We offer these holsters modified for the CARVER Mount at $159.95 plus shipping or unmodified at $139.95 plus shipping.

If interested, you can order from our site at www.bb-enterprise.biz

If I can answer anymore questions, please let me know.

    Thanks,

So it sounds like you're saying current model CR Speed holsters are not adjustable to handle either a 34 or 21 with one holster?

Is there a Carver mount compatible holster that can be adjusted for either small or large frame Glocks without modifying the frame of either Glock?

You are correct, the CR Speed Holster that will fit a Glock 34 will not fit a Glock 21 and visa versa. As I mentioned before the trigger guards on the 34 and 21 are the different diameters so the holsters have to be made to fit their dimensions.

We do not offer a holster that will BOTH the G34 and the G21, either. I could be wrong but I believe that the Ghost and the Extreme holsters are designed to be frame specific, meaning a holster for the G34 will not fit a G21 and visa versa.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

    Thank you,
    Bobby Carver

That sucks. I don't currently absolutely need a holster for either...but I like being able to holster them.

I shot my first IPSC match recently with the 34 (using an Optima and Fobus holster) and if I continue in IPSC open, I'll likely need a "race holster" as I'll likely be using Carver mounted optics. My immediate plan though is to move to shooting production if I continue with IPSC.

Since a "race holster" is more of a luxury than a necessity right now, I don't really want to drop $300 on a pair, and I haven't shot either enough to "just pick one" for possible future use in IPSC.

I don't suppose the Hogue Powerspeed is Carver mount compatible? It looks like the mount's left siderail would probably interfere with the magnets that I assume help retain the slide and the lower portion of the mount may be in the way of the holster body.

    edited to fix typo

I agree that having to own more than one holster for a different frame size Glock is a bummer.

Rescomp is currently working on a proto holster that will fit our CARVER mount. I will contact Rescomp to find out if they could offer spacers that could be used for the holster when using a G34 and could be removed when using a G21. Since the trigger guard retention area is the hold up, they may offer an option. "I'll find out".

When I receive their response, which may take a few days, I'll let you know.

    Thanks,
    Bobby Carver

While I don't have a Carver mount, I do have a Hogue Power Speed. I am pretty sure it will NOT work for a rail mounted optic.

(I suggest the CR Speed anyway.)
