I just bought a police trade-in S&W 5906 9mm. On the front of the frame it says "WPPD" and then a three digit number. Under the trigger gaurd in perm. marker there is another worn three digit number.

Any clue which PD is WPPD?

    Thanks!:)

I didnt realize there'd be so many that used the 5906.

I'll just wait and then contact Mark over at Summit next week after the shot show. No big deal. I was just curious.

    Thanks for the replies though!:)

5906 is a nice 9mm pistol. Mine was as accurate as they come.
