Without any OPSEC or PERSEC violations (i.e. if you're on a FOB/COB just give a country/province i.e. A-stan/Ghanzi) where is everybody out there from and what is your current status?

I'm in MedHold (well, the PC name is Warrior Transition Battalion) BAMC/Fort Sam Houston. I'm an active duty 19D on my first enlistment contract.

I don't think it's a violation of OPSEC to tell what FOB your on is it? I mean, we give out our address to strangers for care packages right?
I'm in Baghdad right now, and out of Ft. Lewis. This place rocks!:animlol:

Honestly I wouldn't think so, but some people freak out over less...My theory is that when the Army and the Gov. start worrying about OPSEC, I will...

I'm in Baghdad tracking Hunter1's movements and putting them on Power Point.

    No, seriously.

Hunter1, stay safe up there, ok?

Are they actually going to keep you in the Seoul (Yong-san) area, or are they going to ship you up to Area 1? If you're staying in the Seoul area, you'll love it. All the comforts of home, POV, and probably off-post housing. If you go up to Area 1, well, the booze is cheap and weekends are good for travel..

From what they tell me I'll be in Yong-song at K-16 or 19 (?), but I'm sure I'll find out once I get there.

They won't let me leave the FOB anymore. I was temporarily assigned to a NPTT and overstayed my "visit". I was told words to the effect of "I hope you got a good look at the ECP on the way in, you won't see it again until you RIP out".

    Staff sucks.

Oh I know what you mean. My unit thought me and the other guy on the MTT/LTT with me were not doing anything. We tried to tell them we teach the IA's and we also go out every day on missions and stuff.

Well they did not believe that we did EOD escort and route clearance and PSD duty along with regular missions. I have been screwed out of my CAB and other stuff to since my unit keeps giving me the run around about when we have been shot at and returened fire and everything else.

My friend that was with me went out on a mission as EOD escort and saved thier ***'s when they got hit. The got into a two hour fire fight and even had to call in air support from the fighter pilots.

Well he was put in for a arcom with v device and then they tried to tell him that he might not get or his CAB. They have given stuff out to guys that have never even left the FOB. I was told that I will not even be put in for mine and they paper work that was done for mine has just up and dissapeared.

I went on R&R and came back and found out the unit pulled us back to move to FOB SIKES. Well I got to SIKES and was told that they hate to do it but they have to send me back out on another MTT/LTT. I told them dont be sorry for me I am glad not to have to be with you.
