Nuttin like that okie. When I was a pup I just picked strawberries,
blackberries, and beans. To this day I can still hear that old
bus backfiring down the hill to pick me up at 4:30 in the morning.

I still shudder at the thought.....but it built character and bought
    my school clothes. :faint:

Southwest KS don't get enough rain to grow corn, and there wasn't enough water in the aquifer to irrigate crops, so we grew wheat and milo, and I damn sure wasn't gonna play in that stuff:supergrin:

I don't know so much about playing in it. I got up in the truck with a scoop and leveled the load out some so we could get that last little bit on the truck before it went to town. Been so dirty at the end of the day from the wheat dust that I left mud on the shower floor too.
