Man you people sure seem obsessed with money. I'm a member of three other forums, and there's never any talk about "look how much money I have".

But here it's a daily occurrence. I guess I just don't get it.

I think people who have a good bit and answer honestly are clowns, who are they trying to impress? So you have more than adequate resources, that makes you a better person? Is George Soros a better human because he's worth 15 billion? Michael Bloomberg is worth 100+ billion and is a miserable, worthless, anti gun creep. Don

Yes, issues with people constantly harping about money. It's low class.

I bought a net for $29.95, but that was a few years ago. Now my net is worth about $10.

My total net worth is my assets minus my liabilities. That is as accurate as I care to be.

I have $67 in my wallet right now. It's a good day.

I must not be checking out the same threads as the OP. I don't see a lot of talk about personal wealth here.

I've never seen or noticed the daily occurrence here of discussions involving how much money I have. Can you direct me to a few I'd like to participate.

my measure of success is what i am worth to my children and grandchildren.
they would need to answer the question.
from how they treat me, my guess is i must have done something right along the way.
additionally, i stay broke spoiling those grandchildren.
9 year old granddaughter wanted a bow and arrows for her birthday, she knew who to ask.
compound bow, target arrows, zombie clown targets and grandpa helping her to be safe as well as hitting her target.
doesn't get better than teaching my little "Katniss" to use her bow and arrows!
by the smile on her face, I AM A RICH MAN.
