I currently carry these items whenever I go out. They're my "never, ever leave home without" items.

    Strider GB

    Zero Tolerance ZT 0301

    Gerber Fat Boy

Camillus EDC neck knife (although I store it in my pack)

    Leatherman Wave

Para Ordnance P-14 with at least 3 extra magazines.

    Also carry my laptop everyday.

This is what I have right now, although I'm pretty sure I'll add to it when the funds are saved up.

BTW, all my gear (except for the Para) came from SOE in Makati.

If I have a vehicle handy, I also carry my M-16 with me plus four or five mags.

BTW, any suggestions on a good back pack to get? Trying to look for a Becker Patrol Pack but haven't seen any in country.

This assortment of gear keeps me prepared whenever we have to go out on sudden missions.

Anybody else carry as much stuff?

I'm not sure what your job is but that's an awful lot of redundant knives.

    Are you an assassin ?

Regarding the good backpack, how much do you want to spend ?

Probably under P10 k for a backpack, something with a provision for adding pouches.

A lot of people think they're a lot, but I'm probably more conservative in my choices. I know some people who carry at least that many folders and about one or two full-sized knives.

Nice one. As far as backpacks, I like the Maxpedition hard use gear line. Very Durable and molle capable. Not too expensive either.

That's about U$200 and you can buy a lot with that if you're in the market for a backpack like the Becker you wanted.

I have only one brand recommendation and that is Camelbak. Camelbak packs are battle tested and they hold up to abuse. Plus you get a hydration bladder.

The last poster mentioned Maxpedition but I have one problem with Maxpeditions and that is the material they use for back cushion on the outside is easily damaged. But if you're not going to abuse your pack, then Maxpedition is an excellent choice.

There are a couple of situations where I don't recommend Camelbak but they don't apply in your case.

I like conqueror products. I use them for mountaineering, biking, and hunting. It seems durable and not to expensive too.

Multiple knives are always good to have for different uses. I carry an Emerson and a Microtech on me all the time, and I always have a Swiss Army Knife in my office bag. It's better to have too many, that to not have one at all.

If Im carrying my laptop, I carry all my stuff in my Hawk backpack. The side pocket is large enough for my Norinco Commander and is easily accesible.

    Included in my backpack is

    One (1) 100GB External Drive
One (1) CD case for my installers and blank CDs and DVDs, including some DVD movies and games for entertainment
    Laptop cables and mouse
    Extra shirt
    Rubber slippers
    Malong
    Toilettries
2 extra mags for my .45
    1 Led flashlight
1 S&W tactical folder in my pocket
    Leatherman Surge in my belt

BTW the Norc goes IWB whenever it gets dark and I have to take a commute

I also usually bring my VW Beetle so most of the I let the bug carry the gear for me. But I leave my car in the office most of the time and take a commute to most anywhere I go.

When I dont have a laptop, I bring my Fatboy Versipak included are

Norinco Commander with 2 extra mags
    1 LED flashlight
    One (1) 100GB External Drive
1 S&W tactical folder in my pocket
    Leatherman Surge in my belt
    Extra shirt
    A few basic toilettries
    Cellphone

The problem with carrying a lot of stuff in a pack for everyday is that the pack can be stolen or lost and iyak ka na lang if that happens.

HEHEHEHE! That's what my girlfriend says that as well when she mentions my SOE friends' and their love of knives.

I agree with you about losing the pack though, that would be really depressing. I carry a lot in my maxpedition as well, and if I lose it, that would really hurt.

I try to keep as light as possible.

Colt Mustang .380 neatly concealed with a spare mag.
Belt - Leatherman Multi Tool (With an Ultrafire FLashlight and Fisher Space Pen in pouch)
Belt - My PDA (Nokia Communicator)
USB 1GB Flash memory stick drive
    A small lighter
    Chase Durer SF UDT Watch
    WileyX SG1 Sunglasses
My set of Color coded keys for easy id(Red, yellow, blue and etc. you can get these at the SM Malls) with an original Photon Light attached

Walking around in jeans and tucked in golf shirt without anyone noticing that I'm armed.
Also nice to wear 511 pants because of the many pockets. (A nice alternative would be the locally made KRUK RAID Pants which costs 50% less than the 511 and is nicely made)
