For those of you who have been playing in the Unlimited class for a while, can you tell us your favorite dot size for each stage? I've heard that a small dot is ideal for accuracy on 5TG and a big dot works best on the plates. I also know that most of you prefer the Tasco PDP5CMP which offers 4, 8, 12 and 16 MOA dots. Which dot(s) do you use?

Shoot straight and keep 'em in the A ring!

I have a PDP5 and my criteria is 4 moa on the 5 to Glock, 8 moa on the M and 16 moa on the plates if it's a "red dot day." What's a red dot day you ask? Overcast so you don't have to turn the dot to full brightness for good contrast on the targets. If the day is full sun I use the 8 moa setting for the 5 to Glock and 8 or 12 moa on the M and still the 16 setting on the plates.

I currently use a PDP5 and use the 4 dot for 5 to Glock and the 8 for Glock M and Plates. I feel that the smaller dot for 5 to Glock enables the shooter to focus on the center of the 25 and 20 yard targets more efficiently.

I use a 7moa and will also be trying a 10. The only covers 2.5 inches at 25 which is plenty small considering the x ring is 4 inches.

I always used 4 MOA on the 5-Glock for the reasons already stated, 8 on the M, and 12 or 16 on the plates depending how bright the sun was. On the plates when red touched white the gun went bang as the dot was crossing.
This system always seemed to work fairly well for me. ;)

10 MOA in the Holosight. I like it a lot better than the standard reticle. I test drove a c-more with an 8 MOA a couple of weeks ago. Liked it a lot.

I think everything works well for TJC. :) And Fireglock ain't no slouch on those plates either.

Does anyone know a good place to check for the Tasco? Local sources don't have them, and Midway was out.
