You need to shorten the cable to your modem for faster service.

I am having this problem also. Getting notices days after the fact. I do have AOL. I also unsubscribed to all threads, and still kept getting old notices. I've resorted to blocking e-mail from Glock Talk temporarily. How can this be rectified?

Holy crap!!!! I just sent an email to myself through aol and I didn't get it yet, should have been received instantly. What the hell!!! Now, I'm going to have to cancell my aol and change my emails again. This is totally unacceptable. Seems the issue is AOL.

Okay, I did some troubleshooting and here's what I found. AOL's spam filter delays the emails. I turned the spam filter off completely, sent myself another email and received an email right away after this was done. Appearantly however, the emails I sent to myself before doing this are still going through some process which obviously delays email to aol users appox 24hrs. They can take their spam filter and !@#$!^^&

I have not had a problem with timeliness of notifications. But, I have noticed that sometimes I stop getting them even though the thread has continued and I have not unsubscribed.

    Sorry for the late post.
