At a very young age I was afflicted with a desire to live indoors and eat solid food. Been stuck working for a living every since.
Other than that, I once had the D.T.'S so bad that I wasn't allowed to carry cream for fear that it would churn to butter. On the bright side though, my handwriting improved. Temporarily.

Heart disease nearly closed my 'widow maker' artery, but a stent restored blood flow. Still got the disease and the stent, but I'm living large without physical restrictions.

Renal (kidney) cancer 15 years ago. Tumor removed with a laser procedure. The kidney was saved, so I am carefully monitored for recurrence of the disease every year.

I've been pretty lucky. I did come extremely close to my appendix bursting. Luckily I demanded the doctor do more testing. She claimed I was simply constipated and tried sending me home on Christmas Eve. I was then rushed to surgery 30 minutes later after blood testing showed something.

Right now I have carpal tunnel and tendinitis in both arms. While not deadly it's absolutely painful and ruining my life. Hopefully it's fixed by the end of the year.

Most recent memory was some type of gastro flu, doc said pooh ingestion most likely. Laid the eff out for 10 days, dehydrated really bad, fever, aches, vomiting, diarrhea, exhausted to the point it was an effort to pee. I should have been put on a saline drip.

Pneumonia. Both lungs. I was mid 30s at the time and in good health. It took 4 weeks until I was even close to back to normal.

Heart Disease. 2 heart attacks Right coronary 100% blocked and seven stents over the past 5 years. 16 heart catheterizations. Hospital says it's a record. LOL
Left side is blocked but no bypass surgery due to my heart function is at 35% and lung function is 70%. Pulmonary Hypertension.I eat healthy, work out 4 times a week and still have issues. It's hereditary so I just have to live with the facts.

I recall a particularly miserable case of diarrhea once, complete with 104 fever and chills. I suspected food poisoning.

Other than that, a few noteworthy bouts with the flu, and that's about it. I've been very blessed.
