FWIW... Hy-Vee Ultimate Buffet. 2 pulled pork sammiches, 1 pound of Orange Chicken, 3 terayaki skewers, fries, lg drink, and 2 plates of assorted fruit. Mama drove us down the road, then I had 6 Boulevard Wheat's 3 double Glenfiddich on the rocks and two Chicago Bros. Mexican Pizzas to help float it all...

Remember when waffle house had all you can eat for about $5? I was in high school and me and a buddy went in after runnin the streets all night. They cut us off...told us they'd be happy to make us waffles and some other stuff. But no more hamburgers, patty melts, and a few other things. The lady said they are alotted a certain amount of certain types of food per shift and we ate it. Whether she was BS'n us or what, I don't know but I never forgot that.

Caught an all you can eat special, popcorn shrimp & sirloin, at a roadside sizzlin' sirloin once.

Had 3 sirloins and 150 popcorn shrimp. Hadn't eaten all day, was about 6 p.m., and I ate steady till 8 pm. Good shrimp.. The old record was 144, so I figured 150 was an honest improvement.

A place that is now closed served prime rib, fried oysters and frog legs...all you can eat style. They had other things too but I went for the frog legs, prime rib and oysters. It was called van decks in lexington, ohio.

I probably ate 60 frog legs,2 slabs of prime rib and 5 plates of oysters.I had a gut ache that lasted the rest of the nite.lol.

We went for my bithday the following month and the sign on the door read closed. So we found this place in columbus called super seafood buffet on karl road.Cleaned them out of raw oysters that afternoon.

I can't eat as much as I used to. When I was about 18 I could do some real damage at a buffet. Probably the equivalent of two chickens at least.

I could walk into a buffet and watch them cry.

I lost a 100 lbs and just can't do it anymore.
