My wife and I went out to dinner one time at a place called Mountain Jacks the bill for the two of us came to a tad over $150.00:wow:
I think mountain Jacks was a small chain restaurant, anyone ever heard of them. The one we went to was in Lansing MI

Upwards of 400 bucks...back in 2002 at the Geneva Hilton. It was amazing, more silverware and glasses on the table for two than my mother used to put out for a family of 9!:wow:

I don't make a habit of it, but it was a one shot deal and the girlfriend really got a kick out of it. You know you're in a high class place when the house wine tester comes to your table to check out the bottle and tastes a spoon full before the waiter is allowed to pour you a glass.

We had a Mountain Jack's in our town years ago, We always went there on New Year's Eve. It's been closed for some time now. Another chain I don't see any more, that I used to like, is Steak & Ale.

We spent over $350 one night at Berns in Tampa. The best steakhouse ever!

Not the most I've spent ever, but the most I've spent this month:

Kitchen table menu at Charlie Trotters...$450 for two for the food, double it again for the wine/champagne/cognac.

I had a thick Kobe steak at the airport restaurant in Hong Kong.
Total came to just over 1000 HK$.

Of all the "chains" Ruth's Chris (to me) is the best.

I've spent about $100 many times, but I can't think of a time where I spent much more than that. Some were worth it, some were not.

I wasn't paying, but one dinner I went to was $400 for four.
