I had a Ribeye steak, medium. Cooked on the cast iron skillet and topped with sweet baby rays hickory and brown sugar BBQ sauce.

Big baked potato with butter, sour cream and bacon bits.

All washed down with an ice cold bush light.

Thats what an average meal looks like for us mid-Nebraskan's.

    Mmmmmmmmmmm. Looks good.

My wife brought home a "Taco Pizza" from the local Pizza/Sub Shop.

    THAT was gooooooood.

Shakey's Pizza used to make them. Delicious!

BBQ sauce on a ribeye? We need the mayor to weigh in on this. You should at a minimum be censured. Maybe even held without bail until a full investigation of your sanity can be completed. That is clearly an improper abuse of fine meat.

Son! That Steak was already Dead when you threw it in the pan! But you done killed it good with that bbq sauce.....

Now dont get me wrong...I love sweet babyRay's....it's my go to sauce for hamburgers and dried out porkchops that my wife incinerates. But we have GOOD tasting beef here in the Pacific Northwest.... a little salt with some pepper.....dance that over the coals for a few moments....and our steaks are ready for a fork!

As for my dinner..... Spaghetti with sweet sausage and a glass of water....I know...not as romantic as yours...but it did fill the spot!
