The original, Gen1 G17 had 2 pins: trigger pin and trigger housing pin. In 1988 the Gen2 frames were introduced in G17 and G19 models, again 2 pin. In 1990, the G20, G21, G22, G23 were introduced to the world with 3-pin Gen2 frames: Trigger pin, Trigger housing pin, Locking Block pin. Gen 3 frames were introduced in 1998. The third pin--locking block pin--was added to the G17, G19 and G34 Gen 3 frames in mid 2002.

Learn your Glock pins. There are no 1-pin Glocks. Never have been. The trigger pin is obvious. Second is the trigger housing pin near the rear of the grip. Both have always been there. The 3rd is the locking block pin, which is above the trigger pin. Folks unfamiliar with Glocks only notice the trigger pin and think the pistol has just one pin. THEY ARE WRONG!

You can see what is called the 2nd pin in the upper rear grip area of each pistol in the video. The poor man means well, he just does not know what he is talking about.
