Wndering what weight bullet people shooting USPSA like the best in a 40? I am rdering a G35 today and plan to make the switch from a 21 to the 35. My plan is to load it to just hot enough to make major. What bullet / speed combo does everyone like best for recoil management?

I used 185 Precession bullets in Limited and Single Stack seated long and used 10mm mags.

Some of the guys run 200, and even 220, but thats not common.

180s are absolutely the most common choice.

180gr coated on 6.0gr of 3n37 makes 168-170 pf (My preferred load) G35gen3
    or
180gr coated on 4.5gr TG makes 180pf (A little on the hot side) G35gen3

Nice, but 168 is kinda close if you're going to be traveling to major matches.

I don’t go to any major matches as of now. If I do get to that point I’ll verify that I never go below 165 and maybe bump it just a bit to be sure
