I have a service model xd 45 cal, xds 9 & 45 but I can't see myself keeping them with the shady dealings Springfield is involved in. Any suggestions for replacements? My current pistol collection is Shield 9mm, Glock 19 & 17, Sig 1911 45 cal, and Sig P938.

Personally my opinion would be to look at the Ruger. I have a Ruger sr9c. I really like it and carry it the most. It feels great and carries very comfortably. Go pick one up in a storeor a range and see what you think. I would say you might be surprised. Have fun. By the way what is Springfield doing I haven't heard.

    G43 to replace the XD-S 9, and a Shield .45 to replace the XD-S .45. HK45 to replace the XD.45. :)

Definitely leaning to the 43 to replace the xds 9, the other two I'm still thinking about all my options

I'm interested in checking out a FNX Tactical before I make a final decision on full size 45

Springfield is offering 4 free mags, mag pouch, and holster to anyone buying a new XD handgun.
Looks like they are hurting for sales anyway.
I am not sure if selling your guns will hurt Springfield. Try writing letters or sending emails. Call customer service and complain every day keep asking for a supervisor. This will have more effect on them than selling your guns. I do not agree with what Springfield did. I only have one Springfield XDs but selling it will not hurt them.

They already made their money off of you. I you really like the SA pistols I would keep them. If not head to local range and try out other options to find out what works for you and there are a lot of good ones.

I know me selling or trading my springfields won't necessarily hurt their company but I don't want to have a brand thats apart of what they have got involved in. Not about me trying to hurt their company at all.

I'm just not getting this idea of selling an old gun because of what a manufacturer did "today".
But if you're offering a real good price...

Yeah, some people have principles, which is out of fashion these days.

Principles are great, but mean little when selectively applied.

Not accusing the OP of doing so, but it gets exhibited a lot on this (and most every other) forum.

What of it? If he wants to dump his private property at a loss to no longer be associated with it, that is his business.
