Had to remove a bunch of personal items I've had in storage for a long time. I've got a couple of deer hides that I had professionally tanned back when I was in high school. So their over 20+ years old and the wife isn't too keen on me wall hanging them. Anyone ever make gloves out of hides or any other great ideas for me to put them to use.

Boy Scouts - Order of the Arrow. If there is an active OA "Lodge" near you, there are people who are probably looking for good quality hides to make outfits for traditional Indian ceremonies performed in OA. Your local Boy Scout Council HQ should be able to put you in touch with someone interested.

another boy scout group that would be interested is the tribe of mic-o-say. there is a camp up near st. joseph missouri, you have central kansas listed on location and its not far away. i went there as a member of a BSA troop while living in atchison kansas.

I sometimes just use them as a simple office chair cover.

Or find a local leather shop that may take one in partial exchange for making you a pair of gloves/belt/whatever out of the other.
