Should I buy ? Okay, so my budget is now at $450ish and I wanted the good people of Glock Talk to help me choose my next gun. I have been considering:

    1. Ruger p95/ SR9

    2. S & W Sigma

    3. Taurus Millennium Pro (Heard magazine comes out if not careful)

    4. CZ P-07

    5. 1911 knockoffs (Norinco, Rock Island Armory, etc)

I have been considering the Keltec P-11 but I figure if I can spend more, I might as well. I have also been considering the Taurus Millenium Pro series, but like I said, I heard people have engaged the magazine release accidently. That doesn't sit well with me, but I'm still considering it. I am open to other pistols if it is within my budget MAXIMUM($450-500 OTD). I do not want a used pistol for personal reasons. (Insecurity of idiots)

    Thanks in advance,

    :wavey: Buzz :wavey:

Do you currently own any Glocks? What caliber are you looking for? Shop around and you can get a new Glock for $500 or less. A guy posted on here earlier about a G26 he bought at the gun show for $479 out the door.

1911 of course. After that I would go CZ P07 or Ruger SP9.

If you shop around, you can can get a Glock in that price range. Also, what's wrong with used? Just do your homework, inspect the gun, and you will be fine.

What about the Ruger SR9? I've heard mixed reviews. Any place that I can find reliable gun/ pistol reviews?

Is the Ruger SR9 worth the extra $100 over the Smith and Wesson Sigma?

Well it sounds like you already have looked at other things and narrowed it down to those , so I wont tell you about what you should get that isn't on your list. Of those I would get the CZ.

Ruger or RIA, depends what kind of gun you're looking for. I'd get the Keltec way before I'd get the Taurus.

If your really considering a S&W Sigma, at least you'll be getting a good deal...I'd still look at the M&Ps though if I were you.:wavey:

I'm leaning towards the Sigma .40. It seems to be cheap and work good. Do I dare ask if the .40sw is better for self defense than the 9mm? If both had Federal HST's or your load of choice, which would you take? 14 rounds of .40 vs 16 rounds of 9mm.

I'm about to buy one of those, so my vote goes to:

Otherwise from your list only CZ and Ruger are of any value (IMO of course).
    Good luck!
