I put Meprolight night sights on a couple of my Glocks. They work well and are pretty durable. I sent my slides to Glockmeister and they received the slides, installed the sights and shipped the slides back out on the same day. They install night sights purchased from them for no additional cost.

I've had a set of Heinie original design (non-stant) Straight Eights on my G23 for almost ten years.

I have a set of XS 24/7 Big Dots coming in for my new G36 as a concession to my aging eyes.

The wife's G21 is dead stock.

I bought some trijicon ghost ring nights sights for my Glock 19. I got them for discount from where I worked, which is why I got them over a set of normal sights. If you REALLY like the "AR15 style" sights, I'd say go for it. While they are aesthetically appealing (they are taller, as if they were built for a suppressor) I'd suggest getting your standard night sights. I've worked at 2 different gun shops and have never received complaints from any of the companies currently making night sights. I'd like to hear any complaints any of you might have in regards to this though. Any leaks? Any breaks? Please tell me. Thanks in advance for the replies.

    Heinie Slant Pro rear/Dawson F/O front. On the Green G17 & G19
Trijicons on the other two, but will change them when they grow dim. On the Black G19 & G26.

Can't seem to make up my mind on this whole Green VS Black thing. I may just keep them even as I buy new ones.;Q

    G17 - Meprolight
    G19 - Ameriglo Operator
    G23 - Ameriglo Operator
    G27 - Trijicon
    G29 - Meprolight
    G30 - Ameriglo Operator
    G37 - Trijicon

I previously had Ameriglo smooth slopes on the G17 and the G23 but I put the Mepro's on the 17 to see what the hoopla was all about. If I had to do it over again I would have left the Smooth slopes on it. I swapped out the smooth slopes on the 23 to try the Operators and I am absolutely pleased with them. I have two sets of extra smooth slopes as a result but I might wind up with a couple more Glocks so I decided to hang onto them for now.

I'll throw in another vote for Ameriglo Operators. Very nice sights, and constructed well at that.

I have CGRs Bomar rear and Dawson front on a G34.

I'm not sure if I'd do that on a compensated gun though... that fiber optic tube melts easily.

As soon as I rip my G17 back from the hands of my father I'm going to put race cut heinies on it.

On my G-17 & 30 I have the new Tru-Glo Tritium/Fiber Optic combos in grn/grn. They have fiber optics that make them really show up well glowing from any source of light as well as the tritium inserts that make them visible without any light source. It's amazing how well they show up in any condition with the two sources of illumination.
