I hear very good things about the new Kodak printers but I dont own one. Kodak has an unusual selling process in the printer market. They sell the printer for its real construction/market cost and then sell the ink at its real construction/market price. The ink is extremely affordable as compared to the other brands that sell the printers at a highly discounted price but then inflate the cost of their inks by 300%.

HP Office Jet All-In-One 5750. Fax, copy & scan with auto feed. It was a cheapy at Costco on sale about 2 years ago for $89.00. It works well enough, though not perfect. It occasionally picks up 2 blank sheets at once when printing. Nothing bothersome enough for me to buy another printer over though.

Costco refills the cartridges for less than 10 bucks so ink isn't a killer.

This is the one I own as well. Paid $79.00 for it on sale at Office Depot I believe. It occasionally paper jamb errors when there doesn't appear to be a paper jamb. This does appear to be lessening so could just be a 'break in period' thing. I am happy with it and recommend it.

I just bought an Epson NX415. It's a printer, copier and scanner unit. It has the memory card slots built in. I got it on sale for $50.00.

This printer replaces a 6 year old HP I bought on sale for $40.00. If I can get 5 or 6 years out of it, I will have gotten more than my money's worth.

There's no need to spend a lot for normal printing jobs. If you want to print high quality pictures, that's probably another story.

Canon MP620 All-In-One Wireless Printer. Great features and I don't have to have a computer directly connected to it.

Epson all the way. Mine's the CX7400, it's a color printer, scanner and copier. It's got a great Maintnence feautre that measures ink levels and how clean/aligned the nozzles are. I love my printer.

We just bought this one to replace a Brother laser printer that started eating every other page of anything it printed. It also gave all of us a scanner and color printer. It's on a network with three computers printing to it. So far I like it. It's a little noisy but that's not really an issue since it's not physically close to any of the computers. It's very fast for an inkjet printer.
