That’s a very classy optic right there. I wish I had thought my of it when I was blowing all kinds of mad money on optics

I don’t know why but your TA33 looks smaller than the other pics of it I’ve seen on other rifles. Is it the mount you are using maybe?

Edit: ooops, sorry, was thinking of the TA11. That one is a beast

How about a prism scope for those with a stigmatism?

I saw one other person say this and I second the nomination.
Sig Romeo5. If its still for 2 minutes it shuts off. As soon as it feels any motion it instantly turns back on. Zero it at 25 yards and your good to 300.

Glad I came across this thread because I have a JRC PCC on order (posted in another thread) and am trying to decide what sights to install.

Since I have some other questions, so I'll start another thread so as to not hijack this one.

Not all red dots are created equal. I've owned Eotech, Trijicon, and Aimpoint, but never again. People for whatever reason think of all Holosun's as as cheap optics, but I'd put their HE530G series red dot up against anything similar on the market.

Their 510C series holographic sight smokes Eotech. The reticle in each has less flare/distortion than Eotech, Trijicon and Aimpoint.

Vortex has a good warranty, you'll need it.

Have we named or listed every brand and model in the market, yet?

Testimonials are only based on what one individual has experience with. Not a valid comparative
based on a set group of criteria.

A red dot is a red dot. If it holds zero, and comes on when you need it and you can see it, it is fine. Pick your poison.

I got rid of my red dot MRO for a lpvo. It weighs more but target identity with a quick throw lever cannot be beat. To each his own.

I like LPVOs, but one of the disadvantages, besides size and weight is the need to have your head in the correct relation to the optic. That is not the case with most RDOs. As long as you can see the dot, you're GTG.

That was a good video. Since I speak German, I got more out of it than most will. I did find it amusing to see how many English specialty terms were used, despite the fact that there are German words for (many of) them. I also thought it was funny that they blurred out the vehicle license plate in the main body of the video, but it was clearly visible in the intro. Apparently he lives in or near Offenbach, which is just down the "Main" river from where I used to live.
