Oh, brother. Let me try to explain, slowly.

YouTube has posted a gun and shooting video to it's home page as a featured video, most of the day, today, Saturday.

    Here is the video:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veBG3YnyL5w&feature=g-all-c&context=G23cad39FAAAAAAAAKAA"]Shooting the M1 Garand and 1903 Rifles - YouTube[/ame]

    Get it, Sparky?

Just thought it was funny/ironic YouTube's home page has a gun/shooting video as one of their featured video.

    That's all.

Stand down from general quarters, Mr.

Youtube customizes the videos shown based on past viewing history.

Yes, assuming you are signed in/logged in to your YouTube account.

However...and here is what I've been trying to explain.

If you LOG OUT of your YouTube account and just visit the YouTube home page/main page, you will see my video there.

I simply thought, silly me, that a gun forum might get a kick out of knowing a gun video was actually featured on YouTube's main/home page.

As of this morning, the video has been viewed over 100,000 times, and....

I think that's cool for anyone interested in spreading the good word on our common interest and hobby:

All things guns, ammo and shooting.

I can neither confirm nor deny it.

Well, I don't see any gun videos, just cars and jets, which happen to be things I've searched for recently on youtube. It's probably looking at your cookies, which are there whether or not you are signed in.

I recognize invincible ignorance and understand it is pointless to keep this conversation going. Whatever. Typical GT jerkery.

It actually uses browser cache as well. Unless you deleted all the information pertaining to the youtube site it is not random at all.

If there's a gun video on your youtube page, great. If it's your video, then good for you!

I, however, have no such video on my page, just videos related to previous searches. I don't think I am signed in because there is a link that says "sign in."
