RussP, your choices are not the greatest.
The simplest choice is the best choice of all.

Do you believe in God? Yes or No.

That's really the only choice needed.
I think that will give you the information you seek.

That would be a much simpler poll, but simplicity does not work well in this sub-forum.

    Thanks for your input.

And for everyone else, there's no need for you to respond to JB's comment.

It looks like the atheists far outnumber the Christians?
Maybe the forum title should be changed to "Atheist Issues"?

Not really, there are just a lot more shades of Christians to split their vote, and atheists end up in only 2 spots, either atheists or agnostics.

Okay, ran into a problem this morning. I tried to rearrange the order of the choices and discovered that when a choice is moved the total votes does not move also.

This only affects the Bible Believing Christians. Would y'all mind voting again?

    Thanks...

I voted Bible believing Christian. But that raises another issue. The Bible must be correctly interpreted. Who's to do that?

You can take verses out of context and prove Jesus was a horse-thief for instance. Many TV preachers convince people to send money they can't afford, so they will get rich. Send me a thousand, you'll get 10,000 back, etc.

I was raised Catholic and believe in God, however I stopped going when I got a letter saying I needed to give 5% of my salary to the church. I don't even give 5% to myself.

I try to follow Zen as much as possible for general life behavior and philosophy.

My religion is "don't be a d#%k" and tends to guide how i behave.

The folks who started this whole thing that go all the way back in unbroken apostolic succession (not branched off, split, derived from, or other nonsense) to Pentecost, 33 AD.

Not really, there is a great deal of difference between an Atheist and an Agnostic. An Atheist knows that God does not exist.

Is there a reason Jews and Muslims, among others, are not included? Pretty sure they're more common than Druids.
