Valdez is Coming with Burt Lancaster
and the original Japanese version 7 Ronin
I would also go with Josey Wales.
"That was Wilson, all right, and he was fast, fast on the draw."
I dunno. Didn't work for me. I thought Brandon De Wilde should have been yelling "Shame!" "Shame!" rather than "Shane!" Shane!" as he ran after Alan Ladd in the closing scene of the movie.
Many of the ones listed above. I'm not sure I can narrow it down much more.
The Magnificent Seven, but many others could tie with it.
But I also love Josey Wales.
And I know it doesnt' get a lot of love on here... but Tombstone. Val Kilmer knocked his version of Doc Holliday out of the park in that one.
"I'm your huckleberry"
Wild Wild West?
An American Tail: Fievel Goes West?
I really enjoy both of the 'Rio Bravo' movies. I will watch either one when I run across them.
Shane....."A gun is just a tool, as good or bad as the person using it".
The Searchers. John Wayne's best film.
The Wild Bunch.
Where's the "Broke Back Mountain" crowd?
"That s##t ain'y right, That s##t ain't right"
Once upon a time in the west and the wild bunch are tied for very close second.
True Grit (either movie; the book is good also)
Josey Wales, Hang 'em High, Tombstone
Dare I say.....The Quick and the Dead
Tombstones my number 2 for sure.
