I’ve owned most of them, and I love the Gen 2 17. But the 19/23 is the most versatile sized gun.

to save on holsters I’m now only buying compacts for carry. I even unloaded my 26 and holsters.

Here is mine . It has a Siderlock safety , Trijicon night sights , extended slide release , 5.5 connector(I prefer crispy trigger), etc etc
I carry an extra 13 rd mag to complete the package.

I've had a 26, 34, 17 and a few 19's but if I had to pick it would be a Glock 19. Currently carry Gen 4 with Zev sights, PL Mini.

How long have you had the Siderlock on the pistol and how do you like it? I've seen this but never looked into it enough to form an opinion.

I had it for years . I have not used the gun all the time only , of course , because I rotate the carry guns with others that I have , but it is ok to me, very easy to unlock / lock and at least to me it is a safer way to carry a Glock .
It does not alters the trigger function at all , either ... it just adds an optional safety for carrying .

G19, specifically a Gen 5 FS variant. I carry it the most.

I'd like to get a G17 Gen 5 FS. For fun, I called my LGS last week to see if there was even a hint of a chance I could get on a list. They told me they can't even get on a list.

At first when I got the G-30-SF, it was ok but I always liked having a manual safety on a carry gun , so I installed the Siderlock . Then , I turned my attention to the factory Glock mushy trigger . I hated it ... so vague and to me , even dangerous to carry ... it had to go . So, I started combining springs and connectors until I found my ideal preferred trigger combo : a NY1 spring / 5.5 lb connector .
I polished everything to perfection , of course and I now have a crisp, controlled pull , carry safe trigger that allows me to control the trigger pull perfectly to get accuracy on my 45 cannon .
That , along with the Trijicon XS Big dot night sights , have made my G30SF a favorite and were the 3 main priority .
The extended slide release, extended slide lock , SS lone Wolf recoil guide rod , etc etc , have finally made this gun a customized pistol to my liking .

This is a difficult question to answer. I picked 26 because I like small guns, they are fun to shoot, and I shoot it about as well as any.

If I were to own 1 for everything, it my be the ubiquitous do all 19, but the 26 would be a contender still, as would a 45.

For general purpose, I like the 17, and the balance of the 45.

So if you say “ Which is your favorite?”, I say 26, but if you say, “ there are 4 bad guys coming up the drive, I would want the 17 or 45.

I'm kinda the same way. I do okay with the slim glocks (43, 48) and with the full size (35, 35) with no back strap, but the compacts in the middle are just not as comfortable or suitable for me.

Must be how the back strap hump fits or doesn't fit my hands.

You can't get here from there!
All my Glocks, two G19's, G30S, and G48 are carry guns.

My absolute favorite to carry is easily the G48. It is also easily the Glock I shoot best. I wear size large gloves but for whatever reason, that skinny little grip fits me perfectly.

    Regards,
    Happyguy :)
