Gen 3 but I have only tried Gen 2 and Gen3. I doubt that I will get any more Glocks. I am satisfied with the gen 3s I have.

There are a few reasons the Gen 4 is my choice -

I have medium size hands, and the no-backstrap grip option makes a world of difference to me.

I prefer the grip texture. For my liking, it's just right.

The metal, dual RSA is an improvement. I know that the plastic, Gen 3 RSA worked fine 99% of the time, and that the Gen 4's had some early teething issues, but it is overall better, IMHO.

Gen 4 for me. I like the smaller grip and larger mag release.

Technically RTF in your poll above is used to describe the standard texture of a Gen 3.

I know you meant RTF2.....so that's my choice.

I like the texture and overall "solid" feel of the Gen4s. The Gen4s feel like they're more tightly put together than earlier generations to me- less slide movement, better lockup, less rattling etc. I've never had a problem with my Gen3s except that they feel a bit slippery in my hands sometimes.

I really want a Gen1 17 though. Those things look cool.

Gen 4 by a wide margin. I like the smaller grip and the grip texture better. Although I edc a gen3 g33, I will get a gen4 g33 when I can find one. Gen3 would be 2nd on my list. I like them just not as much.

    Gen4 without question...

My primary guns are the large caliber, full size Glocks and the Gen4 frames are right at perfect for me.

I bought a G26 gen 3 a couple months ago. Didn't see where the gen 4 would be 90 bucks better. Liked the feel of the 3. Love the way it shoots. My G36 is a gen 2 which I also love to shoot. I'm sure the 4s are really nice too, just thought I would rather put that 90 bucks on another 10 + 2 mag and some ammo. Glad I did as things really went haywire a few days after I bought the 26.
