Sometimes I save an image on my Samsung Galaxy S8 Active and it goes somewhere that I can't find. It doesn't go into "Gallery", not in the "My Files" app, "Drive" "Photos" or "Download Manager".
It's driving my crazy. The only time I stumble onto these elusive images or PDF's is when I go to upload an image and this blue banner screen pops up to select files from. I just can't find it anywhere.
    Thank you for your help.

Android calls it "My Files". Should be in your app drawer.

Go into your "Samsung" Folder in the app drawer. You will see a file manager there called My Files.
In there you can browse to the downloads folder both on your internal drive, and your external SD card (if you have one inserted). For some reason, Samsung temporarily separates downloaded images like that and they don't show up in the gallery.
Once you find where they're located, you can then move them into a gallery folder where they will appear thereafter.

Ok I found them. I'm just trying to figure out how to move them to Gallery.
    Thank you.

Press and hold one. It will "select" Then select others that you want to move. Once you have them all selected, bottom of the screen is an icon that says "Move"... hit that. You'll get another 'file manager' that allows you to nav around to other folders. Find the 'Images' folder and 'Move here'.

    Done

I can move them to different folders in the file manager, but can't move them into Gallery.

When you move them to the "Images" folder, the gallery will automatically pick them up. Then, you can further organize them within the gallery.
