what is the one thing you learned

    to all who served in a war, what is the one most important thing you learned? and when your tour was over, what did you miss the most?

    Can't put a finger on "the" most important thing I learned...too many. What do I miss the most? I would have to say the islands of the south Pacific. Beautiful, simply beautiful.

    I'll second that. That is one of the many lessons I learned that have helped me become successful in civilian life.
