any defenition or how do you clasify a loose fire arms?
AFAIK, any firearm whether genuine or "paltik" which is not registered with the PNP-FED is a loose firearm. It is also said that once a registered firearm's license expired and was not renewed, is also considered a loose firearm, am i right mga bro?
Walang lalagyan? Talunan? Kakalog-kalog?
i know loose fire arms are the ones that have no records in fed crame, licensed firearms that have expired licenses are not considered loose firearms....correct me if im wrong.
I believe expired licenses are already considered loose.
When Maganto was with FED he tried to get a listing of all
expired lic so he can get a warrant for those owners.
I just can't re-call what happened, either he was transferred or
he didn't get the warrant. My source was from FED employee.
how many months before the gun license expires for you to be able to renew your firearm license?any one knows?
2 yrs. mine was issued last dec. 2005 and will expire on nov. 2007
I renew my lic a month before it expires.
I renewed my license right on the expiry month (right now - Aug. 2006). PM me if you want to know through whom.
There has been some tsismis that in the future licenses will be for longer than 2 years, but who knows.
Advanced or Belated Happy Birthday Ante!
I hope the chism is will become a truism
Renewal of the f/a license should be done on or before the exact date (bday) printed on the license card. Later than this would already incur a penalty fee.
My G17 license expired July 10, 2006 and renewed it personally last July 25. May late penalty fee na ako, less than P90 lang yata, forgot the exact amount.
Btw, anybody knows the reason behind why we don't get to keep a copy of the official receipt we paid at Landbank? 3 or 4 copies ata yun tapos maski isang kopya walang binalik sa akin???
Hah, tsamba. My birthday is next week pa.
Why don't we get to keep a receipt? Because the plastic thing is considered proof of legal ownership and no need for anything else? Because the government is too cheap to print one more ply?
Has anybody used a gun license as an ID to, say, open a new account in a bank? "Here's my ID for my bank account. Accept it or hands up!"
Hehe, there was a time i used my firearm license for encashment of my check.. Hanap kasi sila other ID other than my office ID eh.
ginamit ko sa hotel ko yung license card, di tinanggap.. la daw kasi ID no.
They accept it for opening new accounts..
Banks do accept firearm license as a valid ID.
I believe they classify even licensed guns as loose if the license is expired, it was carried but violated the 4 restrictions as cited on the PTC card and if it was unlawfully used. In a nutshell, these scenarios automatically revoke your license.
how much do they charge sa renewal fees?
