Last night after I put the baby to bed I set up a small table near the bed with candles, chilled strawberry white wine and a nice card with my feelings towards my wife written inside the card. It was really nice and I promised myself to make this a every Monday night thing to do something romantic for her. So guys who else out there likes to do romantic things for their wife/girlfriend?

I randomly bring roses and flowers almost every other week, amongst other things. Each time I see a small something I think she'd like I hide it somewhere for her to find. When she stays over a few nights a week, I get up early to make breakfast and take the dogs out so she can sleep in a little.

This is our second go around and after a year of dating quite a few others, I realized I couldn't live without her.

Listen for her to mention things she might like.

It's hard to go wrong with cards and wine.
One of my favorites is to come home and have a
nice bath drawn and a glass of wine ready, maybe also
my favorite magazine. Then I get a few minutes for me.

Unless there is a reason Mondays work best, I think you should
be careful about the "schedule". You don't want something special
becoming an expectation, which becomes a disappointment,
if for some reason it doesn't happen. Surprise goes a long way,
especially with women. We love telling our friends how surprised
we were and how wonderful our SO's are.

If I do anything romantic like that, my wife would be suspicious that I am having an affair.:supergrin:

We have always been very affectionate even after 22 years of marriage but to go the extra mile all of a sudden makes either of us uncomfortable.

We do go out and watch a movie on days that we are both off from work. We also go out and just walk the mall so we can talk about how our day went and the kids.

Anything done on a regular basis will soon be perceived as not being romantic.
Anything done to increase the chance of you getting lucky will soon not be perceived as not being romantic.
    Why is this true?
    Because women are crazy.
    Trust me on this one.

I tossed her a towel to wipe the blood off her nose and helped her back up. It was her birthday.

    Romantic?
I ve been married 23 years...
I made dinner, washed the dishes and put them away, washed/dried and folded all the clothes and put them away, fed all 6 cats and 3 birds.

She left me alone for 3 hours!
