I had a particularly nasty string of insults hurled at me earlier in a thread in GNG. I resisted temptation and didn't respond in kind, but was absolutely dumbfounded that someone could be so rude. I've never reported a post to a moderator before, since I can usually stand a fair amount of muck, but this was over the edge.
So, I reported the post to a moderator.
    Now what happens?
Just how offensive does someone have to get to warrant absolute expulsion from GT (I don't believe my recent example warrants this, but surely deserves some sort of warning)?
Is there some sort of "3 Strikes" rule? Or is it some sort of a case by case type thing?

If you report a post using the link in the thread box, it goes to all the mods of that section. One or more look it over, take action as needed with the thread. If it is more serious it goes to an admin. Eric has the last word as owner.

The response varies from request to cease...to more Draconian measures.

    Thanks for the interest.

P.S. As volunteers, it may take some time for one to get around to the issue; we are all going about life...me...I am at the range a lot.;Q

    Hope this helps a bit.
