won a Ruger LCP II last night on GB...good price and a CTC laser may fit it nicely
Bought an O/U shotgun just about the time the craziness hit----everyone else was buying AR's and pistols while I bought a hunting gun because it was a good deal---had I known about the upcoming loss of income in May, I probably wouldn't have bought it but I'm still doing ok
Just one. I didn't have a .40, so I felt it a good idea to get one.
+1. Got a lot of stuff left from last gun/ammo scare...whichever it was.
Oh...bought a CS 10-40x56 scope, today, used. $600 scope I scored for $150...dude had it on a Stag upper so I'm sure it got no abuse. This is my second CS scope and it's going on my 22-250. SCORE!
I had to say that...I never find good deals.
No, the local Dunham’s.
Bought Glock 19 Gen 5 (under $600), but I have sold three other pistols......so you could I have downsized.
Keltec p17 keltec pmr30 and vr80 12g AR
I traded my lightly used Glock 48 for a BNIB S&W 617.
5 days for a background check? is that normal where you live? should only take 5mins
I bought a used Heritage SA revolver. 3inch barrel with a birds head grip at the local pawn/gun establishment for a $100. Will order a magnum cylinder when I get around to it. I plan on keeping it in my tackle box with some bird shot for snakes and just to have a firearm if need be.
Right now there is very little to buy in my area. The shop I frequent is down to 6-7 1911's and 3-4 mouse guns and 6-7 revolvers, no high capacity handguns period. Long guns is all hunting rifles and shotguns except for one lone Windham AR in 7.62X39 but the extractor is broke, they are still asking $485 for it. Not much to pick from.
I don't see the point of buying when the market is as it is now...low supply, crazy high demand, and unreasonable prices.
I have sold a couple that I was not shooting any more and bought a Ruger LCP-II 22LR because I saw it at LGS. I figured since 9mm practice ammo is getting scarce, I could start shooting rimfire more often.
It’s a fun little gun. Very reliable (with high velocity ammo that reliably ignites) and accurate for the size. (But even 22LR ammo is getting a bit harder to get nowadays...)
No, it's not normal. That's why I mentioned it.
I agree, I wouldn't buy now. But trading a gun I rarely shot for one I wanted still made sense.
I bought a Sig m400, wife figured it was time, I couldn’t argue....
I got a blue label 43X.
I had this one cool device i bought for use in the Zombie Apocalypse However was contacted by port authority from Beirut today that it went off somehow and could not deliver. To say the least i was pretty upset. However i did end up with this.I figured another Glock 19 was okay. And nobody was hurt in the purchase or the delivery but for the wallet.
