What gen magazine is this?

    Can someone tell me if this is an older magazine? It doesn't have steel all the way to the top of the magazine and as a result the plastic broke. New mags I have don't have this issue. They have steel all the way to the top.

    Probably a Gen 2 FML that has out lived it's usefulness.

    I concur on gen 2 - but unless your metal lips are starting to bend, those mags will keep going. Just cut the chipped plastic away with a knife, and you're good to go. Make it your second mag. :)
