Korea War was a war that a lot leftovers from WW2. All spending went into the US Economy and Europe and Japan. The US military was last on the list coming out of WW2. Very Not prepared. Problems with the Pershing Tank that led to the great Patton Tank. We were not prepared for “forgotten War”. And a growing Iron Curtain in Europe of the Warsaw Pact.
