I'd like to open up the trigger well in one area. For those that have filed the frame, is there a particular series of files that you find work well for making the change and then dressing out the work? I'm guessing a combination of rounded files for coarse, medium, and fine but don't have an idea of #18 for medium and #22 for fine, etc. Thanks

For a polymer frame, I'd use a sanding disk or drum on a Dremel, sanding sponge in medium/fine or sand paper in various grits. Files really aren't needed for a polymer frame.

You can also use sand paper or emery paper of the kind used on car body repairs wrapped round some kind of former. This give better control than a power tool and the polymer is easy enough to work by hand. In particular, for a mag well you don't want the corners to be radiused but as square as possible. You can't do that with a rotating tool.
