What belt do you use to support the weight of your 4-5" 1911? My Kimber makes my belt sag and I need one that will support it.

I have two. First one is a leather belt from Crossbread and the other is a Frequent Flyer 5 stitch from Wilderness Tactical. I perfer the increased asjustablity of the Wilderness belt and it has no problem supporting a full size, all steel 1911.

Either a Blackhawk leather belt or an instructors belt.

Between a Galco SB2 Sport belt and a 5.11 Stitched Casual Holster Belt, is one of them definitively better than the other, or are you just paying more for the Galco name?

Just a word of advice, don't go cheap on the belt. Get something that will last

1 3/4" will fit belt loops from jeans to dress slacks, I have yet to fit any loops it will not fit.

I wear Mitch Rosen belts. I bought my first one 10 years ago. I wore it exclusively for 8 years, before I bought a second. It's still the belt I wear when not dressed up and I use it for IDPA.

Any real gunbelt will do. Galco and Wilderness tactical set the standard, and will last damn near forever.

I wear a 1 3/4" Black Leather belt made by Gary Brommeland. It is the best leather belt I have tried. Coming in a close second would be a belt from the Beltman.

A 1.5 in. wide quarter inch thick black leather w/ removable buckle. Hellweg, from Brownells, but it was expensive.
