What do you think of this dress for a wedding?

/since I seem to be on a fluff streak, and historically I post dresses on GT, if you've been here long enough, you remember...

I have this wedding in Las Vegas that I've posted (repeatedly) about, and now I'm getting freaked out about what to wear.

It's my brother-in-law's wedding, relatively low-key, at 4:00 PM at the end of May. I don't go to many weddings and I have zero fashion sense anyway.

I am considering a wrap dress since my weight continues to drop, and I don't have any idea what I'll weigh at the end of May. Wrap dresses are more forgiving when it comes to weight fluctuations (just in case I balloon up like a whale, not likely though). This would be worn with flats, I don't like or do heels.

So, oh-so-sage fashionisters (not fashionistAS) of GT, what is your not-so-humble opinion of this dress?

I read the title and thought, "Uhhh... Did I miss something? G&KL was happily married last time I checked..."

If I had missed that golden opportunity I would have shot myself...:whistling::tongueout:

Oh, and the dress design is a little informal, but the fabric pattern makes it suitable and dressy enough for a wedding. Just be sure to accesorize appropriately with nice heels and jewelry...:aodnsb:

For me, to be honest, it looks like a bathrobe. Sorry, but that's what it reminds me of. Nice color and pattern, though.

Context is everything. It would be nice to see it on a model instead of a mannequin. I might change my opinion of it then. It's hard to tell.

Ok, if so, You should take a look at something like this than.
You may need a light, open sandals, handbag purse and hat (optional) to archive a perfect look :)

I think it will be a good choice. Dress it up a bit with some nice sparkly jewelry. A nice necklace and ear rings will make it a bit more formal. Do go with the push up bra. I am not trying to be a perv, but a little bit of cleavage is definately in style now. (Plus, a nice wedding in Vegas with a nice dress that gives your husband a bit to think about may turn this trip into a bit of a second honeymoon.) Nice shoes will also help. Heals would rock, but since that is not an option, try to get some nice looking flats that will add a bit of color or pop.

And now, here is my man card.:crying:

If the length if just below the knee to about mid-calf then I think that style would be very flattering on you from the pics I've seen. I second the nice shoes and accessories and you're ready to go in style. Have fun! :wavey:
