Me being nosy again, it's what I do. Somebody complained in another thread about his wife having a fan in the bedroom running all night (which I do too, I like to have air blowing on me while I sleep). So I got to thinking, what is it that annoys men most about women? You can answer in general terms applying to all of us, or you can be specific about your wife or GF.

Please keep it clean, don't get this thread locked.

I have a fan running but not blowing on me. I want the white noise to help get to sleep.

Worst is when her snoring is louder than mine.

That Eidetic Memory you women have that can bring up something a guy said to use in winning a discussion (a.k.a. argument) that was settled a very long time ago - hell, 10 years ago and recite it verbatim! This would include the current weather, lunar phase, color of the shirt you were wearing and what you two had for dinner! :D

I used to get all bothered by things that women do. Nowadays, I take them for what they are because I'm sure that I have foibles that the chicks don't care for.

For me, it's just the difference in communication/talking. Women use 3 times as many words, speak 3 times as much, and seem to get upset when we menfolk aren't into jibbering on and on about nothing.

Other than that, men & women share 98% of our behaviors. It's just that 2% that causes some strife.

A side note is these times; the PC stuff has gotten a bit thick, and men need to be free to be men, none of this feminization stuff.

Now, when you refer to "us women" do you have a specific group in mind, like "women of GT", or do you mean women in general, or our significant others, or something else?

I guess it's the vague questions y'all ask that frosts my cookie.

DON'T "read" into what I'm saying!!!! Just answer my question, usually with a yes or no, and... don't analyze why I asked the question.

If there is something bothering you, and I ask: "Is there something bothering you?", don't say: "Nothing..." and then expect me to figure out what is going on. If something is bothering you, tell me, and we'll figure it out.

Men and women really do communicate differently.

    I forgot this!

Wife told me NOT to get her anymore jewelry! (The real stuff) She says she has so much she can't wear it all.

I buy my G'daughters jewelry also (The costume stuff), because I first try to get things that complement their looks, and second it makes me feel good to see their faces light up when they get something "just for them", that they appear to enjoy, and there is no occasion for getting it. One is in College and the other one is 11 Years old. Both NEED to look gorgeous!

Shopping. I don't shop, I buy. I walk into the store at a route step and go grab the things I want, then look for the shortest line, pay and I'm gone. I can't/won't go in a store with a woman. I took my niece age 9 to a Toys R Us to buy her a birthday gift I had missed. Same crap. After about an hour I told her "You choose or I will".
